Will your skates hurt our gym floor?

It will not. Our equipment is specifically designed NOT to damage a variety of expensive surfaces such as wood, rubber, tartan, concrete and even carpet. By keeping our equipment strictly indoor and meticulously maintained we can make the claim “Our Equipment is 100% Floor Friendly, Guaranteed”. Plus we do carry Liability Insurance in the unlikely event of any damage.

Isn’t skating dangerous? What if a student gets hurt?

Skating in gym class is like any other sport or activity you do in the gym. Skating is actually less dangerous than most activities and all core sports schools currently are involved in it. In the mid 80’s The President’s Council on Physical Education and Fitness actually stated that Skating was 5 times safer than Football, Basketball, Baseball, Soccer and Volleyball.

How much does it cost?

Our program is designed like, what we like to call a “IN-House Field Trip”. Students are charged per participant similar to going on a trip to the museum or the zoo…cool thing is, no bussing. The majority of schools pass our nominal fee on the parents which equates to right around $2.00 per day for five days of skating. This includes all the equipment delivered to the school which remains for the duration of the program.

What about students on “free lunch” and students who can’t pay?

We recognize that some students truly cannot pay and have a variety of options such as fundraising and sponsorships.

What if I don’t see my student everyday?

We are very sensitive to your scheduling nightmares and have seen it all for A/B, some C schedules, every other day, twice a week, etc.. We will work with you and make some allowances in order for each student to get 5 days of skating.

What about snow days or school closures due unforeseen event?

We will do our absolute very best to make sure any missed days are made up.

What if I can’t or don’t know how to skate?

Easy, you can coach this activity just like you do any other…from the sidelines in your tennis shoes.

Ok, how do we get this started in my school?

Simple, Once you have all the necessary approvals on your end  you pick out a block of time that works for you. We in turn make sure it works for us and we get you on the calendar. Our office will make sure you get a confirmation or “How To” packet well in advance to make sure you have all the tools you need to prepare for our arrival. Our friendly staff are always available should you have any questions or need any assistance at all. You know the old saying “There’s no such thing as a dumb question”.
